Giveaway and Review of Abel's Field

I was super excited to receive a DVD copy of Abel’s Field to review, as it sounded like a story I would enjoy watching, and I am always interested in seeing a new movie.

From: Affirm Films, Provident Films, and Sony Pictures

Abel’s Field tells the story of Seth, a high school student who is responsible for his two little sisters. He works multiple jobs to provide for his sisters and himself but, when he get gets in a fight with a football player from his school’s team, he is forced to stay after school to help out the school custodian - on top of everything. Along the way, Seth learns to call out to God for help, and to accept human help, too.

Who it is for:

Appropriate for the entire family, in my opinion.

Quality of the movie:

The quality of this movie was excellent! The actors did a great job. I found myself forgetting that I was even watching a Christian movie, at times.

What I liked:

High quality.

Interesting story.

Not as preachy as some movies/the messages didn’t seem forced.

What I didn’t like:

I found parts of the story a bit odd…

My Conclusion:

I enjoyed Abel’s Field.

I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

I received this dvd from Fly By Promotions free to review. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I will be posting the Rafflecopter form for you to enter to win a copy of this movie for yourself, soon... for now, enter here:
