*Giveaway and Review - Their Name is Today

I love children. I have a heart for children. I ache for hurting children every day, and I hate hearing of children who are mistreated. That is why I was excited to receive and review Their Name is Today, a book that is all for looking out for children and treating them right.

Who the book is for:

Parents and educators and all kinds of people who care about children.

What I liked:

This book makes some really good points about just how special children are, and how we need to treat them that way.

This book is pro-family and pro-children.

I love how this book mentions that children are a privilege, and that we parents should treat them as such and be grateful for them rather than complaining about them.

I like the fact that this book mentions that corporal punishment should never be used when disciplining.

Love that this book encourages parents to let their children be curious and just be kids.

What I didn’t like:

This book has a strong pro public schooling message that I didn’t appreciate.

This book is anti-gun and anti-war.

This book can sound bitter and angry at times.

Takes the anti-electronics thing a little too far – they can be a positive part of a child’s life, too, not just a negative one.

My conclusion:

This book is so different from any other and I found so much to love and so much to disagree with, too.

Because of the fact that it stands up for children, I give Their Name is Today 4 out of 5 stars.
