Kept Me Guessing - My Review of Breaker's Reef

Written by: Terri Blackstock
Published by: Zondervan

I really enjoy Terri Blackstock’s books, so I was excited to read Breaker’s Reef.

This book tells the story of a community that is torn up over the murder of a girl, the story of a family coming together, and the story of love.

Who the book is for:

Those who enjoy suspense books with a bit of a loved story and family drama mixed in.

What I liked:

The characters are really likeable.

Kept me guessing to the end.

Most of the chapters are short and easy to get through.

What I didn’t like:

Parts of the story were unbelievable.

Parts of the story were poorly written.

I felt the story could have had more heart.

My conclusion:

Overall, this book was pretty good.

I give Breaker’s Reef 4 out of 5 stars.

I received this book free to review from Book Look. The opinions expressed in this review are my true thoughts and feeling regarding this book. I am disclosing this information in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
