I enjoy reading fiction of all kinds, but some books are better than others. And, some are not so good.

To Capture Her Heart tells the story of a native American woman who is mourning the death of her new husband, healing from the trauma of being captured by another tribe, and falling in love with a Dutch man.

Who the book is for:

Those who enjoy reading historical fiction and are looking for an interesting and different kind of story.

What I liked:

The story is unique and different from others out there.

The first chapter was easy to get into and good.

What I didn’t like:

The rest of the book following the first chapter. I just couldn’t get into the book at all. I didn’t like the author’s style of writing. I felt that this book was written poorly. I really found the book boring and lacking.

My conclusion:

Overall, I wasn’t a fan of this book.

I give To Capture Her Heart 2 out of 5 stars.
