An Okay Read - My Review of With You Always

Published by: Bethany House
By: Jody Hedlund

My sister loves Jody Hedlund's books, and I finally gave in and took advantage of the opportunity to read and review one from her.

With You Always is the story of a young woman who is an orphan and trying to make a way for herself and those she cares about in New York City in the 1850's.
With You Always (Orphan Train Book #1) by [Hedlund, Jody]

What I liked:

The characters in this book are somewhat likable.

The story is different from others that I have read.

There are parts of the story that are a little exciting.

I like that history is a part of this book and it helped me learn a bit about the past.

What I didn’t like:

There are parts of the story that are pretty boring. I had to skim a lot of it.

The ending of this book was a little too abrupt for me.

My conclusion:

Overall, this book was okay but not my favorite.

I give With You Always 4 out of 5 stars.

I received this book free to review from Bethany House. The opinions expressed in this review are my true thoughts and feeling regarding this book. I am disclosing this information in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
