A Decent Read - My Review of The View from Rainshadow Bay

Published by: Thomas Nelson

Written by: Colleen Coble

I have enjoyed some of the previous books by Colleen Coble that I have read so I was happy to have the chance to read and review The View from Rainshadow Bay.

This book tells the story of a young mother who is trying to move past her husband's death and the mystery that she comes across in her life. She is forced to lean on her husband's best friend when times get scary.

The View from Rainshadow Bay

Who This Book is For:

Those who are looking for a love story and suspense story combined.

What I liked:

The characters in the book were pretty easy to like.

There is some heart to the story.

The book held my interest throughout.

I didn't really know what was going on until the book was concluding, something that I long for in suspense books.

What I didn’t like:

I felt some parts of the story were far-fetched and some things never got cleared up completely. I felt confused by parts of it and found myself longing for something more.

My conclusion:

Overall, I thought that this was a decent read.

I give The View from Rainshadow Bay 4 out of 5 stars.

I received this book free to review from BookLook. The opinions expressed in this review are my true thoughts and feeling regarding this book. I am disclosing this information in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
