Fun Craft Book for Young Girls - My Review of Create

Published by: ZonderKidz

When I was young, I loved looking through craft books and dreaming about all that I was going to make. I got books from the library and turned through their pages, trying to find crafts that I could create on my own. I don't know how many times I actually made anything that I discovered, but I know that I loved looking through the books.

I chose to read and review Create because I feel like it is something that one of my nieces might enjoy, just as I would have when I was their age.

Create!: A Girl's Guide to DIY, Doodles, and Design

Who This Book is For:

I feel like this is an appropriate fit for my niece who is about to turn eight but I also feel it would be good up to about age twelve or thirteen.

What I liked:

The cover of this book attracted me right away and I like the way that it looks.

There are pictures in this book that show the finished crafts.

The crafts in this book do not use too many expensive or hard to find materials.

What I didn’t like:

Some of the crafts seem a little outdated.

Some of the crafts create items that are not very useful.

My conclusion:

Overall, I think this is a fun book for my niece.

I give Create 4 out of 5 stars.

I received this book free to review from BookLook. The opinions expressed in this review are my true thoughts and feeling regarding this book. I am disclosing this information in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
