I always like reading new children's books to share with my nieces and nephews. I was happy to have the chance to read and review Candy Apple Blessings.

Candy Apple Blessings - Illustrated By: Maddie Frost

The illustrations:

I love all of the pictures in this book! This is fun!

Who This Book is For:

This is a fun book for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

What I liked:

I love the overall look of this book. The pictures are cute and modern. The colors are fun. There is a bit of foil writing on the front...

The idea of the story and the repetitious parts are fun for kids.

What I didn’t like:

Pumpkins aren't a fruit, are they? This book calls them one, which could be confusing to young children.

My conclusion:

Overall, I really like the look of this book.

I give Candy Apple Blessings 4 out of 5 stars.

I received this book free to review from BookLook. The opinions expressed in this review are my true thoughts and feeling regarding this book. I am disclosing this information in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.

An Interesting and Emotional Read - My Review of Where Hope Begins

Published by: Thomas Nelson

Written by: Catherine West

I have enjoyed each book that I have read from Catherine West and I was interested in reading Where Hope Begins right when I first heard about it.

This book tells the story of a woman who is struggling to move on from loss that she dealt with in the past and the pain that she is currently facing. The book also intertwines the stories of a number of other individuals close to this woman.
