There are a lot of kids books out today. Some share stories, some share poems. I was excited to read and review Bedtime Blessings because it looked like a cute book that might make for a fun gift. This book shares a number of bedtime poems to help kids get ready for sleep.

Really Woolly Bedtime Blessings - By: Bonnie Rickner Jensen Illustrated By: Julie Sawyer Phillips

The illustrations:

The pictures in this book are cute and fun to look at. The cover of the book has glitter on it, which I like.

What I liked:

Each of the poems is really sweet and cute.

The pictures are fun.

The poems are accompanied by a Bible verse that goes with them.

The book is positive and affirming.

What I didn’t like:

I don't know how interested kids would be in listening to poem after poem, and that is what this book is made of. Seems kind of weird for a board book.

My conclusion:

Overall, I think this is a cute book of poems.

I give Bedtime Blessings 4 out of 5 stars.

I received this book free to review from BookLook. The opinions expressed in this review are my true thoughts and feeling regarding this book. I am disclosing this information in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
