My niece loves reading. She also seems to love horses lately. I was excited to have the chance to read and review Horse Gentler in Training because I thought this book was something that she might like.
This book tells the story of a young girl who is trying to learn how to train horses like her mom does. Her family is at risk of losing their ranch and her sister believes that everything will be okay because everything is possible with God.
Who the book is for:
This is a good book for ages eight through ten or so, and some younger children might like to have it read to them.
What I liked:
This story of this book is cute and the characters are realistic.
The length of this book and its chapters seems good for young readers.
I like that there are some pictures mixed into the book.
What I didn’t like:
There is not really anything in the book that I didn't like.
My conclusion:
Overall, I think my niece will love this book.
I give Horse Gentler in Training 5 out of 5 stars.
